Despite tearing his ACL playing quarterback in the fall, the two-sport star from Tennessee recovered in time to show off a low-90s fastball and potentially plus slider on the mound this spring. He also boasts a solid curveball and usable changeup. An athletic 6-foot-2, 175-pound righty, Jennings has a lot of the physical traits that portend good command and potential velocity gains down the road. Once he sheds his knee brace and gets further away from that injury, there is a chance he could be regularly sitting in the mid-90s with his fastball. Jennings is committed to Mississippi State, but with a big enough bonus, he will likely begin his pro career with an assignment to a rookie-level affiliate.
