Repko refused an outright assignment to Triple-A Pawtucket and will be a free agent.
ANALYSIS
A host of injuries to the Red Sox outfield resulted in Repko being summoned to the big club in April, where he went 1-for-11 in five games before separating his shoulder. He only batted .225/.293/.421 in 178 at-bats at Triple-A when he returned from injury, so don't expect Repko to generate anything more than mild interest.

Repko was limited to just 67 games last season as he spent time on the DL with a concussion and quad and shoulder ailments. Repko is an asset in the field, where he can play all three outfield positions and provide some speed on the bases. Unfortunately, he doesn't have enough power or draw enough walks to compete for a regular job or platoon role. He may need to prove himself again in Triple-A next season.
Repko opened 2010 at Triple-A, but was called up when the Twins had a few injuries and was a strong defensive replacement for an outfield that lacked range. He had stretches when he got hot at the plate (posting a .994 OPS in his first 17 games), but he struggles to make contact (striking out in 30 percent of his at-bats), which likely limits him to a utility role. Still, he's got some power and gets enough walks that he could be productive for fantasy purposes even in a reserve outfield role.
Repko took a step back this year, batting .277/.326/.464 in 390 at-bats for Triple-A Albuquerque. He did show more power, but Repko's walk rate dropped from 10 percent to six percent and the 28-year-old didn't show enough to rid himself of the Quad-A label. Repko will likely compete with Xavier Paul for a reserve role this spring.
For the first time in years, Repko managed to stay healthy all season, though he ended up spending most of it playing for Triple-A Las Vegas where he hit .283/.373/.449 in 121 games. Repko was the victim of the Dodgers' logjam in the outfield and can't expect to be part of the picture in 2009 either.
It was a lost season for Repko, who, after straining his groin during spring training, proceeded to suffer a torn hamstring just before the start of the regular season. Repko was the club's first-round pick in 1999, but myriad injuries (including a severely sprained ankle in 2006) have stunted his progress. At this point, he's a long shot to make the club out of spring training, especially considering a reported flare-up with the ankle in instructional league.
Repko was off to a .328/.414/.574 April start before a severely sprained left ankle knocked him out and limited him for the rest of the year. Barring other injuries, he's expected to act as the team's fifth outfielder, a role that provides him with limited N.L.-only value at best.
Repko worked hard to climb and scrape his way to the majors after getting drafted in 1999, and in a fan sense deserves a tip of the cap for his efforts. From a fantasy perspective, however, he's a replacement level player at best, cut out of the Bo Hart mode.
Repko was a supplemental first-round pick by the Dodgers in 1999. He's shown enough offensively in the minors to get consideration as a fourth or fifth outfielder in the bigs.
Converted infielder trying to make it as a utility outfielder.
Another speed burner in A-ball for the Dodgers, but without Reggie Abercrombie's upside, plus he's a year older.
