The 32-year-old journeyman had a strong year in Triple-A, but was not able to parlay that into more than a cup of coffee in the Majors in 2015. Pridie dropped a 20/20 season for Triple-A Nashville and also hit .310 in the process. Aside from one run of 208 with the Mets in 2011, Pridie has never played more than 10 games in any Major League season. His 2015 year in Triple-A is likely the byproduct of a 14-year Minor League veteran taking advantage of young pitchers. Pridie was released from his contract in October by the A's in order to play in Japan and will spend the 2016 season overseas.
