Flaherty started hot filling in for Johan Camargo at the beginning of last season, posting a .362/.464/.500 line through his first 69 plate appearances. He fell hard after that, however, hitting an ugly .136/.196/.175 the rest of the way to finish with a very Ryan-Flaherty-esque .217/.298/.292 line with a pair of homers and four steals in 182 total plate appearances. The 32-year-old will likely see time in the big leagues somewhere this season as he's a pretty versatile defender, having filled in everywhere except catcher and center field over the course of his career, but don't expect much in terms of fantasy value. He's never hit better than .224 and has hit double-digit homers just once, back in 2013. It will likely take an injury crisis somewhere for him to reach 200 plate appearances.
