2013 Fantasy Outlook

Salvaged from the Cardinals' scrap heap, Fick posted a 4.30 ERA in 18 games for the Astros in his first taste of major league action. Despite the passable ERA, the real story was the walks: the 27-year-old righty issued a whopping 18 free passes in 24.2 innings split between the Astros and Cardinals. Fick was outrighted off the 40-man roster in November and should be back in Triple-A to begin 2013. He will need to work on his control while he awaits his call to reinforce the Astros' bullpen at some point this summer.
