Elvin Ramirez

Thanks to a live arm, Ramirez has proven capable of missing bats in the upper levels of the minors and in limited time with the Mets (9.3 K/9). Unfortunately, his ability to find the strike zone wavers and control has been a problem throughout his professional career, even at the lower levels of his development. As a result, Ramirez is positioned to shuttle between Triple-A and the big leagues again in 2013, at least until he shows signs of making progress with the free passes.
