Dream11 Fantasy Soccer: Wolverhampton v. Arsenal Preview

This article is part of our Dream11 Fantasy Soccer series.

Game Preview

Wolverhampton are entrenching themselves as one of the top teams in the English Premier League and look poised to finish with a spot in the UEFA Europa League for the second straight season. The Wolves, led by star striker Raul Jimenez, have been playing at a very high level this season and are coming off three straight wins since the campaign restarted last month. Arsenal, on the other hand, have won two straight since losing their first two since the restart. Their wins have come against lowly sides such as Southampton and Norwich, though, so it remains to be seen how they will react to facing a better side – at least on paper – such as Wolverhampton. Arsenal have been struggling on the road this season, posting a W3, D8, L5 record away from the Emirates Stadium in 2019-20.

Top Picks

Raul Jimenez, Wolverhampton: The Mexican star should be Wolverhampton's main attacking reference once again. The Wolves have scored nearly 1.5 goals per game at Molineux in 2019-20, and the Mexico international has been the team's top scorer with 15 goals in 32 matches. He could take advantage of Arsenal's defensive issues once again.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Arsenal: The Gabon star is Arsenal's lone reliable threat on the attacking end, and therefore, he is one of the team's most consistent fantasy assets regardless of format. Even though the Gunners might struggle on the road against the Wolves, Aubameyang does not need much to make an impact. He enters this game with high confidence as well, bagging two goals, one in each half, against Norwich last week.
