Rest-of-Season Projections
The Seahawks have placed Williams (knee) on IR, the Seattle Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Williams suffered a knee injury during Wednesday's practice and as a result, he'll spend his second season in a row on IR. The Seahawks had hoped that Williams could emerge as part of the team's defensive line rotation, while backing up Tony McDaniel and Brandon Mebane, but knee issues continue to stall his pro career.

The rebuilding Raiders need to find a quarterback and a supporting cast to help him out. Can Oakland land two top talents early on?
Although he might not be the biggest name heading into the draft, TE Tyler Eifert is among the draft's elite prospects, and he should make his way into the top 20.

A 2013 fifth-round pick, Williams has had two seasons wiped out by knee injuries. In May, he was diagnosed with kidney cancer. He had the kidney removed and heads to training camp with a clean bill of health. He could be headed to the practice squad, though, as he's on the bubble for a backup defensive tackle job. If he makes the team, he'll get decent playing time as the Seahawks rotate their line to keep players fresh.
