Babineaux totaled 104 tackles last season, fifth among defensive backs, becoming a decent weekly IDP option. This season, however, he likely won't get the chance to repeat his 2009 exploits. Earl Thomas, picked 14th overall by Seattle in April's draft, will start at free safety this year for the Seahawks. Babineaux will back up Thomas and play in nickel packages.
