Moving to cornerback
June 15, 2023
Styles, who committed to Ohio State and joined the program as a transfer from Notre Dame, will make the move from wide receiver to cornerback with his new program, Dan Hope of ElevenWarriors.com reports.
ANALYSIS
During his two seasons at Notre Dame, Styles was productive at receiver, logging 54 catches for 684 yards and two touchdowns. However, even with Ohio State losing Jaxon Smith-Njigba to the 2023 NFL Draft, the Buckeyes still boast one of the nation's most potent receiving rooms, a reality that would have made it tough for Styles to build on the role he enjoyed at Notre Dame. As a result, the 6-foot-1, 192-pound Styles will make the move to the other side of the ball, where he should have a clearer path to seeing snaps during his junior season with the Buckeyes.

2022 Fantasy Outlook
Styles is entering his sophomore season on a team where he has the potential to really shine. He was a lightly used freshman last season that was behind big names like Braden Lenzy and Kevin Austin, but there will be many more opportunities for the wideout in 2022. Styles accumulated 344 yards with 24 receptions and one touchdown, which was impressive numbers considering how little time he actually played. With Austin sitting out the 2021 Fiesta Bowl, Styles also got a little more playing time and showed off what he will be capable of producing next season.
