Poor showing Friday
October 22, 2016
Potter completed 13-of-29 passes for 104 yards and carried the ball nine times for 42 yards in Friday’s loss to San Diego State.
ANALYSIS
The senior quarterback had another poor performance before being replaced late in the four quarter by backup Josh Love. His most productive drive was his last, when he accrued 62 of his 146 total yards before a turnover on downs at the San Diego State five-yard line. This was Potter’s first game without a touchdown, too. Potter has a chance to get back on track this Saturday against UNLV. The Rebels are ranked 106th in total passing yards allowed and give up 30.9 points per game.
